Getting Gout Pain Relief - The Easy Way

Have you ever suffered from gout pain?

If you have then you'll be only too aware of the utter misery that this coarse condition can cause. You're going to have to deal with lost time from work, with loss of sleep, loss of lifestyle and more than that - with the very real side effects of some heavy duty medications. Most people who suffer from gout end up taking prescription medications - often non steroidal anti inflammatory drugs (Nsaid's) - and these frequently corollary in problems with the stomach, the gut, the kidneys or the blood pressure levels.

Plasma Problems

Most gout pain rehabilitation options are still very focused on conventional medicine, but in the last few years there's been a swing back towards more traditional ways of dealing with things. Researchers have looked more closely at how a dietary turn can help, at lifestyle issues and at natural remedies like cherry juice extract - all of which seem to be efficient in easing the discomfort.

3D Technology Checklist

This product is 3D-related. To help you get a great 3D experience, use the checklist below to ensure you have everything you need. 3D viewing requires:

A Display
First, you'll need a 3D-ready display--whether it's a 3D HDTV, 3D projector, or 3D computer monitor. These displays have more processing power than standard 2D models for displaying 3D images in rapid succession.
A Source
Your display may be ready for 3D playback, but you'll still need a device to read 3D content. This can be a cable box with a subscription to a 3D channel, a 3D Blu-ray Disc player, or a PlayStation 3 system.
3D Content
3D content--the actual entertainment, in other words--will be played back using the source mentioned above, whether it's a 3D broadcast from your cable provider, a 3D Blu-ray Disc, or a 3D video game.
3D Glasses
For now, the vast majority of 3D HDTVs require glasses for 3D viewing. Many use powered "active shutter" glasses, others polarized "passive" glasses. You'll need one pair per viewer, and they'll have to be compatible with your display, whether they're the same brand, or a pair of "universal" glasses designed to work across brands.
HDMI Cable
To connect your source (such as a 3D Blu-ray Disc player) to your display, you'll need a high-speed HDMI cable. Cables with this designation feature bandwidth speeds up to 10.2 Gbps (gigabits per second), for carrying the 3D signal without any loss of quality.

Step into the 3D World. The VIERA ST30 Series Full HD 3D Plasmas create an all new viewing experience by putting you inside the action and creating a new world of TV viewing realism.

TC-P47ST30
Infinite Black 2

In new VIERA models, contrast in brightly lit locations has been significantly improved. Enhancements to the panel and cells help reproduce images with smooth, natural gradation and deep, rich blacks even when viewed in bright surroundings. In movies, the true, deep blacks faithfully convey the intent of the filmmakers, adding power and realism to the viewing experience.

Full-time 1080 Moving Picture Resolution

VIERA plasma TVs have 1,080 lines of moving-picture resolution. Newly developed phosphors with minimal afterimages and a new motion compensating technology have made it possible to render faster-moving images with greater sharpness. This far surpasses the APDC moving-picture resolution measurement standard of 5 seconds by providing a moving-picture resolution of 1,080 lines at the 1.5-second level. And it shows the inherently clear motion of VIERA TVs in both 2D and 3D images.

3D 24p Cinema Smoother

VIERA incorporates technology that analyzes picture information in both the preceding and succeeding frames, and creates a precise supplementary frame between them. This suppresses the jerky effect seen in movies so playback is smooth and natural-looking. The distinctive tonal qualities and atmosphere of the movie are preserved and you enjoy extremely lifelike 3D images.

Full 3D
600Hz
Frame Sequential Technology

Panasonic uses Full-HD Frame Sequential technology to create its 3D images. Images recorded in 1920 x 1080 pixels for both the right-eye and the left-eye alternately flash on the screen at the ultra-high rate of 120 frames per second. When you view the screen through active-shutter glasses that open and close each lens in sync with the alternating images, you see breathtaking FULL HD 3D pictures with stunning power and realism.

Dynamic Contrast

By combining the highly light-transmissive IPS Alpha Panel and high-brightness backlight, Panasonic has attained both high contrast and low power consumption. Also, by detecting the contrasting parts of the scene, the backlight is adjusted to maintain a brightness that is optimal for each area. Deep blacks are reproduced with no fading. The contrast between the brilliance of diamond-like stars and the deep black of the night sky produces a sharp, crisp image.

600Hz Sub-field Drive

600Hz technology lets you view superb full-HD motion and still images. For even greater clarity with motion images, Panasonic uses its own unique image-analysis technology. This technology converts the motion in each scene into dots. And each frame is practically displayed for a shorter length of time than in previous systems, to reduce aftereffects.

3D Image Viewer

It's easy to view 3D photos and movies you shot yourself on the big VIERA screen. After shooting with your 3D-compatible camera or camcorder, simply insert the SD card into the slot on a 3D-compatible VIERA TV. The viewing is incredible, with images so realistic it feels as though you're right back in the moment. You'll find that life's special moments are even more memorable when you preserve them in 3D.

Now you can enjoy intuitive remote control while relaxing on the living room sofa, with a wide variety of content at your fingertips. In the near future, TV will also be able to link with a tablet device to achieve completely new forms of entertainment that you've never before experienced.

VIERA Link

VIERA Link interlinks the operation of a variety of AV devices, so you can operate them all using only the VIERA remote control. Setup is easy simply connect the compatible devices to each other via HDMI cables.

VIERA Remote

VIERA remote is a TV remote controller app for select Panasonic VIERA HDTVs that uses your iPhone/iPod touch/iPad (of iOS 4.2 or later) to control TV channel selection, input selection, and volume control. Included features are gesture control, a keyboard user Interface, and a power off button. Learn more about Panasonic’s VIERA remote app.

Long Panel Life, Up to 100,000 Hours

One important way consumers can protect the environment is by choosing high-quality products and taking care of them so they last for a long time. A high-quality VIERA HDTV can help. Thanks to a newly designed phosphor process and rear panel process, our plasma panels last for up to 100,000 hours before the brightness decreases by half. That's more than 30 years of viewing 8 hours a day.

Mercury and Lead Free Plasma Display Panel Panasonic is committed to making our products more friendly to the environment. In line with this commitment, all VIERA plasma display panels are free of both lead and mercury. This reduces impact on the environment years down the road when the TV is recycled or retired from use.

Gout most often affects the joint at the base of the big toe but other parts of the body suffer too. It can flare up in the ankle, in the knee, the shoulder or the wrist. For some unlucky people it can even trigger kidney stone problems which lead to kidney pain and bleeding in the urine. Where ever it affects in the body it is always highly painful!

The pain of a gout flare up comes about because of a salt in the bodies blood stream called urate or uric acid. Uric acid is always gift but it stays completely dissolved in the blood plasma - just as sugar stays dissolved in warm coffee or tea. But of course, if you let your coffee get cold the sugar no longer stays dissolved but appears at the bottom of the mug like minuscule sharp edged crystals. And, yes, you've guessed it, that's certainly what uric acid does at the start of a bout of gout pain.

These crystals in the joints are incredibly irritating and start up a huge flare up of inflammation. It's like walking with broken glass inside your shoe say many sufferers.

We don't certainly fully know what triggers the uric acid crystals to emerge from solution in the blood but it's probably partly a turn in blood pH and partly a turn in blood temperature.

Treatment of gout is focused whether on reducing the amount of urate in the blood to begin with - or on reducing the inflammation caused when the condition starts to flare up. In conventional rehabilitation this is done by taking medication on a lifelong daily basis to preclude gout or when required to deal with acute attacks. More natural approaches look at diet changes to preclude attacks or at using natural inflammation reducing options like cherry juice or cherry extract. Probably a composition of contemporary rehabilitation and nature works best for most people.

I guess in overview it's safe to say that there is no one miracle cure out there - but if you take your time and recognize the options open to you then you should find a route to gout pain relief that works for you and your private circumstances.

Since a majority of the problems I have seen on LCD TVs are related to bad power supplies this is one book I highly recommend. What is a LED monitor?
The term "LED monitor" generally refers to a monitor with a LCD panel and a LED backlight. A typical LCD monitor uses cold cathode fluorescent lamps (CCFL) as a light source to illuminate the LCD panel. In an LED backlit monitor, white LEDs (Light Emitting Diodes) are used as the light source. LED backlights provide the following benefits:

  • About 50% less power consumption compared to traditional CCFL monitor
  • 10,000,000:1 MEGA Contrast Ratio
  • mercury-free backlight
  • Low EMI (Electro Magnetic Interference)
  • Slimmer design
  • Weight reduction

Save cash and save the planet
With its mercury free backlight and low energy consumption, the Energy Star 5.0 certified VA2448m-LED is friendly on your electricity bill. The savings of LED can add up to thousands of dollars saved for large install bases, such as big corporate buildings or schools. The savings can be as dramatic as ,000 in five years!

MEGA dynamic contrast ratio
One of the great features of VA2448m-LED is its ability to dim the backlight completely for pure darkness during dark scenes, such as a night shot in a movie. Contrast ratios refer to the ratio of the brightest color to the darkest color. With traditional CCFL backlit displays, contrast ratios are limited to the fluorescent lamp’s ability to dim, in order to reproduce darkness. However, with the LED backlight, each LED has the ability to completely shut-off allowing for a near infinite ratio of black to white contrast. The end result is true blacks that result in greater overall image quality.

Full HD 1080p resolution
The VA2448m-LED features a 24" (23.6” Visible) widescreen with 1920x1080 resolution is capable of displaying a native Full HD 1080p image. Today, devices that can display Full HD content output are getting more and more common. However, without a native Full HD display, you will not be able to experience the picture clarity and the details of the 1080p content you view.

Pair it with a ViewSonic or Mac computer
One of the key advantages of the VA2448m-LED monitor is its diverse connectivity options, making it flexible to be paired with a PC or a Mac computer. ViewSonic has recently announced a full line of PC products, including PC Minis and all-in-one PCs. Now you can hook up any Viewsonic PC as well as a MacBook® or a Mac Mini to the VA2448m-LED and enjoy a full 24" (23.6" Visible) widescreen with LED backlight!
